Use of Collected Personal Data
Comments
When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent, are collected to help detect unwanted comments.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the website, we recommend avoiding uploading images containing EXIF data with GPS coordinates. Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from these images.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this information when leaving another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and is automatically deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the post you just edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, and monitor your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to their website.

Use and Transfer of Your Personal Data
Data Retention
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and automatically approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal data provided in their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.
Your Rights Regarding Your Data
If you have an account or have left comments on the website, you can request to receive a file containing all personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include any data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
